| Notes: Rachel Bates Kern was the grand daughter of James Seale. She lived from 1832-1926, all of her life in Greenville. An interesting note: her husband, Simon Kern was Jewish—from Germany. They did not practice Judaism in Butler County. She was my ggg grandmother. |
