Oxford Gandy, descendant of Brinkley Gandy's brother John.
He was a prominent Greenville businessman, moving his family
to Butler County in the late 1820s, believed to be about 1828,
though he is not listed on the census of 1830.

1836 in Georgia, and died October 06, 1912 in Babbie, Covington
County, Al.

October 14, 1868 in Butler Co, AL, and died January 27, 1977 in
Gandyville, Escambia County, FLA. He married MARY ANN ELIZABETH
QUEEN VICTORIA BLACK, daughter of LYTLE BLACK and MARY SIMS. She
was born June 12, 1872 in Butler Co, AL, and died March 11, 1953
in Gandyville, Escambia County, FLA.

honor of John Oxford Gandy.
2. Died at age 108 at his home in Gandyville. Property now is
possession of daughter Elmira Gandy Crapps who still lives on the
