I am searching for Samuel Freidmont CLARK, son of S. J. (Samuel James) CLARK & Mary, who resided in Natchitoches Parish 1840-1860's. Mary remarried a George C. MANUEL. I need any information you can share on Samuel Friedmont CLARK and wife's name. He had a son, Charlie Fried CLARK who also resided in LaSalle Parish early 1900's and married 2nd, Mazzie WESTBROOK. I have records recording Samuel and Charlie both living in LaSalle Parish. Any help would be appreciated.

I am searching for the parents of James W. BROWN, born in Louisiana in Sep 1869. He married Della Ann YOUNG in 1893. They are listed in the 1900 Calcasieu Parish census and 1920 Allen Parish census. Some of their children are: Margaret, Elias, Euzeb, Della, and John. James' parents were from Mississippi. Della's father is from Maryland and her mother Louisiana. Thank you.

I'm searching for WARD ancestors who are related to William David WARD or Henry Taylor WARD. I noticed that Henry T. WARD was buried in Nolley Cemetery (1857-1938). He was married twice, the second to Margaret Melissa KING. W.D. WARD owned a hardware or dry goods store in Jena back in 1920. Where is W. D. buried? These WARD's are off of Elisha WARD and Elizabeth MEEKS of Webster/Union Parish. Any information on these

Elmer married Rosa DOWNEY 1874-1941. They moved to Jena, LaSalle Parish LA. Their children were: Quinton R., 1893-1976; Gholda, 1894-1970 married Routon B. Looking for any information on J. B. BASS born Oct. 5, 1875 and died Mar. 23, 1914. He married Martha Virginia FLOYD (b. April 12, 1880 D. March 18, 1965. Their sons were: Roy BASS (B. June 22, 1907 died Jan. 3, 1938) Burnis BASS (b. May 27, 1912 died Jan. 23, 1914.) and Jasper Benjamin BASS (B. July 18 1902 died May 17, 1993)
Jasper was my great grandfather. J. B., Martha, Roy and Burnis are buried in Pentacost Cemetery, Jena, LA. Any of these names sound familiar to anyone? I don't know anything more than this about J. B. other than he is supposed to have caught the flu from Burnis and both died of it. I think the B. in J. B. might stand for Benjamin. Other surnames I am working on in LaSalle: SMITH, PEPPER(S), WILDER, FLOYD, LEWIS, GOLDEN, and ALLIEN.

March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Kentucky Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Kentucky, where collected databases would be stored. In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked, so that even if an individual were found in more than one county, they could be located in the index.

At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the web page. The Louisiana USGenWeb Project is an extension of the KY GenWeb Project.
