OLD CARROLL COUNTY JAIL


The 2-storey part of the Old Carroll County Jail at Carrollton, Miss., was built in 1897 by the Pauly Jail Co. of St. Louis; this, according to Supervisors Minute Book E, page 248. It's recorded there March 13, 1897 that Supervisors accepted the "new jail."
