L. J. Green

L. J. Green was a courageous soldier in the War Between the States and was wounded in the great conflict.
He was born near Marietta of sturdy pioneer stock and was one of the organizers and builders of the county.
At the time of his death in 1932, he was survived by his wife, Sallie Davenport Green and children, Robert Green, Mrs. D.P. Almon, James Green, Tobe Green, Porter Green, Gordon Green, Mrs. Tom Hamm, and Mrs. Elder Glover.
