Capt. Isaac Bartlett came 1833 to Binghamton from Owego, a blacksmith ,with two sons, Joseph and Robert S., gunmakers, lived Port Dickinson. Joseph was Sheriff of Broome County, his son Rev. William, minister of the Cong. Church of Owego and later went to Chicago and then Wash. State. Joseph's son Joseph J. was General in the Civil War, later a minister to Sweden and Norway. Robert S. died in Binghamton July 21, 1881 age 72, Isaac's third son, Isacc L. was born Salisbury, Conn., June 20, 1813, a gunmaker with his brothers, died Binghamton, December 20, 1888.
