Mrs. Mary A. Guy, widow of Frederick Guy, died Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock at her home, 110 Walnut Street. She is survived by three sons, Frederick W., and W.A. Guy of Syracuse and Frank E. Guy of this city, and five daughters, Mrs. E.L. Moore of Johnson City, Mrs. E.J. Hamel, Mrs. J.H. Johnson, Miss Freda Guy and Miss Mildred Guy, all of this city. The funeral was held this morning at 9 o'clock at the home and at 9:30 o'clock in St. Patrick's church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Joseph J. Madden, 76, 2-35 Saratoga Terrace, died Saturday morning at 2:30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Freda H. (Guy) Madden, Binghamton; two brothers, John F. Madden, Vestal, J. Raymond Madden, Binghamton; also several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Andrews Church. He was a retired member of the Binghamton Fire Dept. and a member of the Binghamton Firemen's Benevolent Association. He was a veteran of World War I, serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion, Binghamton, Post No. 80. Funeral services will be held at 8:30am Monday from the Walter d. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 45 Oak Street. and at 9:30am at St. Andrews Church, where a High Mass of Requiem will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home this evening at 8. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Guy Hamel was held this morning at 9 o'clock at the Walter D. Sullivan funeral home, 32 Main Street and at 9:30 o'clock at St. Patrick's church. Solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated. The Rev. Edward Kenefic was celebrant, the Rev. William Stapleton deacon and the Rev. Francis Furnieru subdeacon. The Rev. Ambrose M. Dwyer was in the chancel. St. Patrick's choir assisted by Miss Mable Ring and Ernest Dunbar, sang. The pallbearers were Joseph Madden, Christopher Brown, Patrick, J. Hastings, Ray Dorsey, Frank Kelley and Cyril Donovan. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Father Dwyer officiated at the grave.

Frank I. Guy, of 18 William Street died at 4pm Monday at his home, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth (Norton) Guy; a son, Robert J. Guy of Kirkwood; three daughters, Mrs. Leo Noonan of Endwell, Mrs. Richard Lane and Miss Barbara J. Guy both of Binghamton; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Moore of Castle Creek Road, Mrs. Maude Johnson and Mrs. Joseph Madden, both of Binghamton, and Mrs. Denman Day of Vestal; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral of Mrs. Frank Guy was held this morning at 9:15 o'clock at he home, 110 Walnut St., and at 9:45 at St. Patrick's Church, where a solemn high mass was celebrated. The very Rev. Dean John J. McLoughlin acted as celebrant, the Rev. William H. Olley as deacon and the Rev. James H. Burns as sub-deacon. The pallbearers were Daniel J. O'Brien, Enos P. Lane, John J. Shine, Frank T. Meagher, Jeremiah Foley and James J. Heffernan. The flower bearers were Leo J. Kelley and Thomas Gorman. Frederick Sydney Smith sang at the church. The Rev. James H. Burns and the Rev. William H. Oley officiated at the grave. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
