DUGAS, HARRY, MORGAN posted by Barbara Morgan Email: bobbie@beau.lib.la.us on Wednesday, August 19, 1998

My Great Grandmother, Marie Olivia DUGAS, who was married to Gustave HARRY was living in St. Landry Parish,(New Iberia) when he died in June, 1869. In the census of 1870, she was living there with my grandmother Celestine HARRY, 2 at the time and her younger sister, Mathilda, age 1. After this I do not find my great grandmother listed in census, death records, etc. My grandmother married Thomas James MORGAN, Jr., and Mathilda later married and both were still going by the last name of HARRY. My great grandmother, Marie Olivia DUGAS HARRY, was about 34 when my great grandfather died. She could have remarried, but I find no record of this. Any one knowing anything about her, please get in touch thru my email.
