married either in Ms. or St. Landry Parish. He died on Jan. 21, 1838 in

in Opelousas, William and James. They married MCCOLLISTER sisters.

McKINNEY Ladies /Ala, La. I'd love to find out something about this family
after 25 years of looking! I call it my McKINNEY ladies mystery. Sarah
A. MCKINNEY was born ca 1832 in Alabama. She married Robert L. FOX 1852,
and in their home in Rapides Parish La. in 1860, there was a William MCKINNEY
born ca 1839 Alabama. In 1872 a Manora Valsico (Val) MCKINNEY married N.L.
McGINNIS in Sarah's home. Val was born 1857 Alabama. Val died in 1891 and
N.L. MCGINNIS married "Val's cousin" Fanny E. MCKINNEY of Opelousas La.
It is known that Fanny E. MCKINNEY's father was Kinchen W. MCKINNEY. Val's
father was named in her obituary as "Jesse MCKINNEY of Alabama". Can anyone
please help me unscramble these ladies?

My Great Grandmother, Marie Olivia DUGAS, who was married to Gustave HARRY
was living in St. Landry Parish,(New Iberia) when he died in June, 1869.
In the census of 1870, she was living there with my grandmother Celestine
HARRY, 2 at the time and her younger sister, Mathilda, age 1. After this
I do not find my great grandmother listed in census, death records, etc.
My grandmother married Thomas James MORGAN, Jr., and Mathilda later married
and both were still going by the last name of HARRY. My great grandmother,
Marie Olivia DUGAS HARRY, was about 34 when my great grandfather died.
She could have remarried, but I find no record of this. Any one knowing
anything about her, please get in touch thru my email.
