JACKSON- Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist Church here for Theodore Martin Uden, 71- year-old Jackson man who died Monday morning in a car accident on Jackson street, apparently of a heart attack.

The Rev. Roy Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.

Mr. Uden was born Nov. 21, 1892 at Minonk, Ill., coming to Ewington Township with his parents as an infant and spending the remainder of his life in Jackson county.

He and Anne Knuth were married in Ewington Township. They farmed for a number of years before moving to Jackson, where he had been engaged in sales work. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Kenneth, Petersburg; Duane, Minneapolis, and Marlin, Fountain City, Wis.; three daughters, Mrs. Willis Ehlers, Sherburn; Mrs. Clare Hybbert, Dunnell; and Mrs. Earl Rogers, Worthington; 26 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The first member of a family of ten children to die he is also survived by six brothers, George, Wilbur and Rudy, Minneapolis; Herman, Mandan, N.D.; Ellsworth, Ocheyedan, Iowa, and Henry, Lakeside, Calif., and Three sisters, Mrs. Joes Johnson, Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. E.H. Will, Leeds, Iowa.
